Aberconway Opportunities Zone

D&G has worked closely with Cardiff University, in particular the Business School for many years.
They recently began to totally refurbish a section of their Aberconway building and turned to us to come up with some design ideas.
The Solution
The Business school were keen to make the space as inviting and relaxed as possible to encourage students to use it.
We decided to create private bright offices, plus add a break out space to make the whole area user friendly. We wanted to use modern surface materials and bold colours to create a new zone that stood out within the school.
So, we designed a concrete effect reception desk, and used bold stripes and colours throughout. We also worked with the school to explore bold graphics, floor and wall colours to compliment the area.ool to explore bold graphics, floor and wall colours to compliment the area.
